Chettyz belongs to a family of businesses that is better known by their flagship brand Cats, a pioneer in safety matches. Established in 1963, Cats matches started to gain recognition and reputation across India for their quality. When wax matches first emerged in the 1980s, Cats was one of the few brands that pioneered the wax matches segment.
